Package: libavifile0.7c102
Version: 0.7.33.20030314-1
Severity: grave
Tags: sid
Justification: renders package unusable

The recent renaming of libavifile0.7c102 to libavifile-0.7c102 breaks package
depending on libavifile0.7 (e. g. all packages of the "avifile" source).
Installing the package through dpkg is possibles but leaves a system with
both the old and the new libs in place ...

The best solution would be to have a virtual package "libavifile7", which
would be "procured" by both libafifile0.7 and libavifilme-0.7c102. But that
supposes a modification of the "avifile" packages.

Couldn't we have at minimum a "Replaces" or "Procures" line allowing for a
smooth transition ? That would allow, for example, the reinstallation of
Christian Marillat's video tools (transcode, libmjpeg and video-dvdrip).
