You did right but libldap2 package have a serious bug then. I already reported it against libldap2-dev and when it's got fixed you need to change curl packages to use libldap2 package. You can check the bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=libldap2-dev in some minutes.
