I am very sorry... We currently have this issue reported already,
please take a look at bug 292622 [1].

The PDF::API2 upstream author had told me that the new 0.4 version is
already stable and the recommended version for production use. Only
after this version was uploaded, Allard Hoeve (member of the Debian
pkg-perl group and co-maintainer of the packages) noticed that it does
not work with PDF::Report. Now, this has become a bug on PDF::Report,
and Allard has sent a bug report to its author [2]... I hope we can
fix it soon :-(

I can provide you with a temporary fix: An older PDF::API2 0.3r77
package. That will allow you to keep working while PDF::Report is
fixed. Please tell me if you are interested.
