Still no sign of a DSA for this, so I'll point in the direction of a patch [1] I made against 2.4.18-14.3 for some locally built packages. It's based on diffs extracted [2] from BitKeeper that relate to recent efforts for 2.4.29, and I've tested the published exploit on a 2.4.18-1-k7 kernel built from the patched source.
