This bug has already been filed today, and fixed in 1.1.2-2 which is already in unstable. /usr/share/doc/gaim is a symlink to gaim-data, as allowed by policy given that gaim depends on gaim-data. The problem was that I forgot that dpkg doesn't replace directories with symlinks or vice versa. I've fixed it now by creating the link in the postinst if it wasn't correctly upgraded. > Wichert.
