The abiname has changed due to a security fix that broke the module abi, and so the new package names are kernel-image-2.4.27-2-386, etc, and i2c's module package need to be rebuilt to depend on these. I'm marking this bug report serious because until it's fixed the i2c modules packages are blocking the new kernel packages, with their security fixes, from entering testing. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27 Locale: LANG=3Den_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=3Den_US.UTF-8 (charmap=3DUTF-8) --=20 see shy jo --zYM0uCDKw75PZbzx Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFB5CkCd8HHehbQuO8RAg1iAKCzs7vSwixGTe7GE2LLw4on1q2SQQCfYolm /fd+MVMZP2S2yhfxgZXmyrA= =Xoec -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --zYM0uCDKw75PZbzx-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 289910-done) by bugs.debian.org; 12 Jan 2005 07:56:43 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 11 23:56:43 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from farad.aurel32.net [82.232.2.251] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CodMw-0004hi-00; Tue, 11 Jan 2005 23:56:43 -0800 Received: from bode.aurel32.net ([2001:618:400:6439:2e0:18ff:fea3:b80f]) by farad.aurel32.net with esmtp (TLS-1.0:RSA_ARCFOUR_SHA:16) (Exim 4.34) id 1CodMv-0003am-NK for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Wed, 12 Jan 2005 08:56:41 +0100 Received: from aurel32 by bode.aurel32.net with local (Exim 4.34) id 1CodMv-0001g9-4U for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Wed, 12 Jan 2005 08:56:41 +0100 Date: Wed, 12 Jan 2005 08:56:41 +0100 From: Aurelien Jarno <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Bug#289910: modules are built against old kernel abi Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-15 Content-Disposition: inline In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-Mailer: Mutt 1.5.6+20040907i (CVS) User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6+20040907i Sender: Aurelien Jarno <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: The package has been accepted, closing the bug. -- .''`.
