Hi,
This bug was reported by a Debian user in version 3.1.1, and I've been able
to reproduce it in 3.1.3 and 4.1.0
Please maintain the Cc list to keep our bug tracking system in the loop
Steps to reproduce:
Configure DHCP server to provide domain-search with two or more domains
Configure DHCP client to prepend domain-search with another domain
Expected result:
Configured domain search list consists of the DHCP-provided domains with the
client-configured domain prepended to the list
Actual result:
Configured domain search list consists of the first DHCP-provided domain
(only) with the client-configured domain prepended. The lease file contains
a trailing comma and some whitespace before the semicolon

Package: dhcp3-client
Version: 3.1.1-6
Severity: important
Normally, when using DHCP, I get a line like "search foo.lan" in my
/etc/resolv.conf.
After specifying the following in /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf:
prepend domain-search "example.net";
my /etc/resolv.conf contained "search example.net." where it should use
"search example.net foo.lan" instead.
