Hello.

I received this from the Debian bug system:

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: Alain Kalker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: Bug#464000: cmp: Please document that "cmp -l" outputs differing bytes
    in octal

Package: diff
Version: 2.8.1-12
Severity: normal

This is documented in the full upstream info source, but not in the man
page or "cmp --help".
Though I understand that the Debian diff package documentation is
maintained separately from upstream because of DFSG issues, I sill like
to consider this issue severity "normal" instead of "wishlist".

-Alain
