Betreff: Bug#333920: less: very weird output
Datum: Fri, 14 Oct 2005 15:18:27 +0200

Package: less
Version: 391-1
Severity: normal

This new version of less is acting very strangely, it seems that
longer lines get wrapped incorrectly thus overwriting begginings of
the other lines. It looks awful and makes the app effectively
unusable. Before I loose my eyes, I have downgraded to the older
version (382) which works correctly. Please fix this asap, I believe
far too many people depend on less working properly.

Additional (hopefully useful) data:

LC_CTYPE=hr_HR
COLORTERM=rxvt-xpm
TERM=rxvt
LESSCHARSET=latin1
LESS=-i -e -M -PM--Less-- ?f(?eEND:%pB\%.) %f?m (%i/%m).,  line %lt/%L  char
%bB

I would be glad to provide more information on request, please cc: me
in that case.

Thanks.
