I've tested that with the teTeX beta 2.99.7 and [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/bug/269638$ dvips --version dvips(k) 5.94b kpathsea version 3.5.3 Copyright (C) 2004 Radical Eye Software. and still this is wrong. When reading the man page I've got some other results (not correct either). Yes, that beast states in huge letters, that it is obsolete, but maybe we can fix the numbers there too. Please review the others numbers in the info page too, as I can't evaluate if these statements are correct.
