I can't use gmplayer because loading of the default skin is failing. Converting the png files like described in message #10 doesn't work. The error message is: $ gmplayer MPlayer svn r34540 (Debian), built with gcc-4.6 (C) 2000-2012 MPlayer Team Can't open joystick device /dev/input/js0: No such file or directory Can't init input joystick mplayer: could not connect to socket mplayer: No such file or directory Failed to open LIRC support. You will not be able to use your remote control. Error in skin config file on line 11: PNG read error in /usr/share/mplayer/skins/default/main Config file processing error with skin 'default' Exiting...
