Package: freerdp-x11 Version: 0.7.4-1 Severity: normal Hi,
This is an observation/warning that in Microsoft's announcement for MS12-020 [1], a 'fixit' is suggested which would require all clients to use Network Level Authentication (NLA). FreeRDP before 1.0 (such as the version in Squeeze) will then fail to connect with this unspecific error: > ui_error: ERROR: Connection closed > run_xfreerdp: inst->rdp_connect failed This is not an issue for Wheezy which has version 1.0.1 already. The 'fixit' is not part of the patch released via Microsoft Update, which by itself does not seem to cause a problem for FreeRDP. There is another 'fixit' available on the same page to revert the change and allow non-NLA connections again if necessary.
