Package: changetrack
Version: 4.7-1
Severity: wishlist

I extensively use changetrack to maintain an archive of
configuration files and as an alert system for when upgrades
change a configuration file.

At present in /var/lib/changetrack there are 7107 files and in the
RCS sub-directory 2357 files.

Instead of creating archive files of the form eg

   usr:local:X11R6:share:sawfish:themes:AceIce:theme.jl,v

would it be feasible and better instead for changetrack to
create a mirror sub-directory tree under changetrack and RCS
eg for the above

   /var/lib/changetrack/usr/local/X11R6/share/sawfish/themes

instead of putting all of the files in a single flat "top level"
directory?
