Thanks for reporting this bug.

I just tried to upgrade nginx-extras to 1.1.16-1 on my debian Sid machine, and I didn't had this issue.

Could you explain us clearly what you did to upgrade nginx-extras ?

To the other maintainers : could you take time to try to reproduce this bug, maybe one of ourselves will be able to reproduce it and therefor, trying to produce a fix.
