By the way, I should have retitled this bug quite some time ago. May I advise that rude words are avoided in bug reports....just to be sure that people who invest time in maintaining the said package are not offended (I don't know for other aptitude maintainers, but I dislike this "stupid" word and I know many Debian contributors, particularly those living in areas where politeness is very important, who would be really offended)?
