I installed with the latest mini.iso: http://d-i.debian.org/daily-images/kfreebsd-i386/20120303-00:10/netboot/mini.iso and the system still had the same problem, that the keyboard was not configured as specified in the installer. The system has both console-setup and console-setup-freebsd at version 1.75. Regards, Mike.
