Package: musique
Version: 1.1-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

There is currently no way to display Artists, Albums and directories in
Musique's
main frame. Allowing the user to read the directories/albums/artists as a simple
vertical list would make them much more searchable for a particular entry (for
example if the user knows only a part of the name he's looking for). In the
current situation we have to look upwards/downwards AND from left to right to
find a particular entry.

I think this option would not unnecessarily clutter the interface and would
prove itself really useful. For example a single button on the right of the
view selection bar should do the trick:

[ Artists | Albums | Directories | = ]

Please tell me if you find this relevant.

Thanks.
