Dear Maintainer,
having this behavior of pd package on my debian sid system:

$ pd-gui
ERROR: failed to allocate port, exiting!

$ pd
priority 6 scheduling enabled.
priority 8 scheduling enabled.
watchdog: signaling pd...
watchdog: signaling pd...
watchdog: signaling pd...
watchdog: signaling pd...

Let me know if you need some additional test.
