I'll confirm that doing so did allow me to print a PDF from evince correctly although the printer seems to be left in an odd state and it takes quite some time to spool the job. Any of the generic PCL drivers expand the printed area enough that header and footer text is lost. The Foomatic Generic Postscript printer seems to take less time to spool but also results in a blank sheet. So, it would appear the Generic PostScript Level 1 Printer Foomatic/Postscript1 does work. It's just slow. Thanks! - Nate >> -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds. The pessimist fears this is true."
