Hi, This problem has existed as long as I can remember with pre-edit. So you first have to choose a MIM that uses pre-edit.
If you are trying to reproduce this it is easier to observe if you have pre-edit underlining enabled. Next, the sequence you type must result in an *uncompleted* pre-edit buffer.
