Hi, As I checked, courier-authdaemon has:
-rw-rw---- 1 daemon daemon 3654 Aug 31 20:40 /etc/courier/authdaemonrc So daemon:mail as I suggested works without problem. If mail:mail was used, dpkg-statoverride is needed.
