Today I tried to type in a password with ä, ö or ü
using the standard german QWERTZ-Layout
to unlock a locked screen.

The problem also appeared here. If I press the ä, ö or ü key on the keyboard
the cursor in the password field doesn't move and I'm not able to type in a correct password. The only chance of unlocking the screen was to restart the X server via Crtl+Alt+Print+K.

It seems that it doesn't depend on the keyboard layout.
For some reason xscreensaver doesn't accept ä, ö, ü or other special letters.
