Package: postgresql-common Version: 128 Severity: normal
Hi. I've recently reported PostgreSQL issue #6459 (http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-bugs/2012-02/msg00113.php). The documentation of PostgreSQL says, that log_filename is only used when logging_collector is enabled. However, when log_filename is set, Debian's logfile (/var/log/postgresql/<version>-<name>.log) is not used. Guess this comes from the code in /usr/bin/pg_ctlcluster . Could you please either adapt this to follow upstream documentation or "warn" about it in README.Debian? :) Thanks, Chris. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
