Hi,

Yet another round on trying to reproduce the bug that ncurses
applications (like vim, aptitude, htop, etc.) are not drawn inside
screen until the terminal is resized, maybe only after reattaching
previously.

I tried this on Debian 6.0.4 as it seems straight-forward, but still
fail to reproduce this. I slightly modified the test to not be
influenced by my own screen and mutt setup, and I used a UTF-8
terminal like Damyan when he ran into this issue:

1. Start screen with proper encoding for uxterm: screen -c /dev/null -U
2. Start mutt: mutt -F /dev/null
3. Set editor to vim: :set editor=vim
4. Start writing a mail (vim comes up fine)
5. Kill uxterm
6. Start new uxterm
7. Reconnect with screen -c /dev/null -U -r

So my question is now: Can anyone who previously ran into this issue
reproduce it with Debian Squeeze, Wheezy or Sid (which basically have
the same screen package)?

If yes, I'd be happy if those who still can reproduce it, could test
the screen package which is currently in Experimental (and will go to
unstable at latest when upstream has fixed
http://bugs.debian.org/644788) if this bug
(http://bugs.debian.org/502490, http://bugs.debian.org/468427) is
still present there.

                Regards, Axel
