Package: nsd3
Version: 3.2.9-3
Severity: normal

Hi,

issuing

# /etc/init.d/nsd3 restart

fails everytime. The result is that nsd3 only exits, but does not
get started again. It's a timing problem:

Feb 15 16:42:32 debian nsd[24854]: signal received, shutting down...
Feb 15 16:42:32 debian nsd[25177]: can't bind udp socket: Address already in use
Feb 15 16:42:32 debian nsd[25177]: server initialization failed, nsd could not
be started
Feb 15 16:42:38 debian nsd[25206]: nsd started (NSD 3.2.8), pid 25206

The fourth log entry comes from issuing the command again.

Kind regards,
--Toni++
