Hi Andreas, is there any reason to believe that the bug is actually fixed, from upstream code changes? I tried out several of the experimental packages you pointed me to, but none of them changed a bit.
For this reason I've become reluctant to try out new ones, especially since it it quite tedious to manually download and install the experimental packages with all dependencies every time. Since I'm no apt-configuration expert: Maybe you could point me to a pinning rule that would allow me to install the experimental nvidia packages through aptitude without breaking my squeeze system?
