Perhaps I should have, but I'm just not familiar with their bug tracker yet. I would more likely to do that if I couldn't provide patch suitable for "perl" package. Another reason I have (although not an important one) is that I'm familiarising myself with perl build system we use in Debian because I'd like to do more Perl-related work here, if time allows.
