Package: libmicrohttpd
Severity: important

For reasons unknown to me, libmicrohttpd is still on an ancient
version with limited HTTPS support in Debian stable/testing/unstable.
A reasonably up-to-date version is only in experimental.
The current 0.9.x-series is stable, well-tested and widely used,
so there should be no good technical reason for Debian to stay
with 0.5.x.

I'm filing this report as the upstream GNU maintainer, so I believe
I know what I'm talking about ;-).
