Package: git-buildpackage Version: 0.5.32 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/git-dch
Hello, git-dch should accept (or provide an option to manage the following case). I have a git repository with the following structure mygitrepo.git/mysoftware/debian/ If I try to use git-dch in mygitrepo.git/mysoftware/ it is failing with "xxx is not a git repository" This assumption is confirmed by looking the code of dch.py: try: repo = DebianGitRepository('.') except GitRepositoryError: raise GbpError, "%s is not a git repository" % (os.path.abspath('.'))
