Thanks for clarifying this matter. However, the package 'alsa-base' is still at version 1.0.23. Are you aware that libasound2 version has been at 1.0.24.1 for months now and that just recently version 1.0.25 was uploaded to unstable. That's why I renamed this bug, because it should have been closed, but it pertains to the state of the alsa-base package more than the rest of the alsa packages.
