Thanks again. Pushed and sent a request for upload to the sponsorship-requests crowd[1]. (Starting to get sick of all this bug shuffling.) Apparently the way to get access to collab-maint repositories for the future is to visit [2] and click "request to join". Or you could become a DD --- honestly, I don't see any reason for you not to be one if it would make your life easier --- you certainly do enough for Debian already.
