package: pigz severity: wishlist Hi Eduard,
thank you for maintaining pigz. There is a new upstream version available, http://mail.zlib.net/pipermail/pigz-announce_zlib.net/2012-January/000003.html which I've build here locally with your 2.1.6 packaging and it just works nicely. Plus, 2.2.3 supports -R/--rsyncable which is needed for using pigz with dpkg-source, with 2.1.6-1 I get: dpkg-source: info: building linux-foo in linux- foo_3.0.15-1~experimental20120208111557+7+3fbbd3c.tar.gz pigz abort: invalid option: rsyncable not implemented yet: -R tar: -: Cannot write: Broken pipe tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now dpkg-source: error: tar -cf - gave error exit status 2 With 2.2.3 this works nicely! If you dont mind (and have no time) I could upload 2.2.3 to sid myself. I've checked the diff to 2.1.6 and it looks sane. (I'd upload, but I absolutly don't have to. For now+myself, I have my package.
