Package: cifs-utils Version: 2:5.3-1 Severity: normal Hello,
I have a script which mounts with -o uid=`id -un` With current smbfs the files on the share are root owned which is a regression and contradicts mount.cifs(8). Using id -u works around the issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable'), (110, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0-1-486 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages cifs-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.13-26 ii libkeyutils1 1.5.2-2 ii libkrb5-3 1.10+dfsg~beta1-2 ii libtalloc2 2.0.7-3 ii libwbclient0 2:3.6.1-3 ii samba-common 2:3.6.1-3 Versions of packages cifs-utils recommends: ii keyutils 1.5.2-2 ii winbind 2:3.6.1-3 Versions of packages cifs-utils suggests: ii smbclient 2:3.6.1-3 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
