Confirm. In wheezy's "udev" package, file /lib/udev/rules.d/75-persistent-net-generator.rules if broken. Line 70: ENV{MATCHADDR}=="00:0c:29:*|00:50:56:*|00:05:69:*|00:1C:14:*", Line 71: <TABs>ENV{MATCHADDR}=""
It seems that backslash character is missing in the end of 70th line, so net interfaces in /etc/udev/ are failed to generate. This bug comes at least in 175-3 wheezy package, in debian squeeze package 164-3 it's OK. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
