Hi, Just to report the tip above to remove the "routers" keyword from dhclient.conf worked for me.

This is with a two-interface server where I want the inside NIC to be configured by DHCP as usual, except for the default route, which is set statically to be through the external NIC. Removing the "routers" keyword from /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf did exactly this.
