Thanks for the answer. Do you mind if I reopen the bug on the Debian side to give the issue a bit more visibility ? For the moment, I merely unarchived it; it will become archived again automatically after some time of inaction. PS: I was using UIM via uim-toolbar-gtk-systray before Ibus.
