Package: acpi-support Version: 0.138-11 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Due to gnome-power-manager implementation recent changes, the check of a handler for an acpi event is changed. I already discovered a problem with acpi-support-base, see bug #656473. Now, the problem is that my laptop does not lock (using gnome-screensaver) when I close the lid. As far as I investigated, commenting the 11th line in /etc/acpi/lid.sh solved the problem for me. That is, I removed
if CheckPolicy; then exit; fi However, I am not sure this would not break a configuration different than mine. Could you have a look on it ?
