Package: file
Version: 5.04-5
Severity: normal

When I create ~/.magic file I get warning from 'file' utility:

  $ file dead.letter
  /home/user/.magic, 2: Warning: using regular magic file `/etc/magic'
  dead.letter: ASCII text

I found this:

  http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/NUQmuIFN7uePfne4fsjz

  fix #771292 - do not show 'using regular magic file' warning for /etc/magic,
  because this file is not supposed to be compiled

So to avoid this warning you need compile magic file. I test and this sentence
true.

But it is good to have plane text magic file in home directory without
warnings....
