Package: src:vde2
Version: 2.3.2-2
Severity: important
Tags: wheezy sid

Current version of vde2 in sid has -dev package named
"libvdeplug-dev" instead of previously used "libvdeplug2-dev".
New package does not Provides: libvdeplug2-dev. This makes
impossible to upload other packages depending on libvdeplug --
since version in testing does not have libvdeplug-dev. As
far as I can see your intention was to simplify usage of the
library, but you made it more difficult, did not notify uses
of the library, and finally now blocking important security
update of qemu-kvm package to enter wheezy -- because it
depends on libvdeplug2-dev (since I didn't know you renamed
it) and it is not installable on sid.

For qemu-kvm I'm re-uploading it now, to build-depend on
libvdeplug-dev|libvdeplug2-dev, which is obviously less easy,
just to have the important bugfix to go.

Thanks!
