reopen 656384 reassign 656384 gdm3 thanks I think I might have found the culprit:
$ dpkg -S /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/gnome-power-manager.desktop gdm3: /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/gnome-power-manager.desktop Since the gnome-power-manager binary was removed, this autostart desktop file should be removed.
