I'd be happy if you (or someone else) would volunteer to do it, but I
don't have the time to do it. It is a shame that it gets to it, but I
have better things to do than rewriting documentation.

Maybe it would work, I have no idea, and don't think it's important
enough an issue to lookup.

Once you verify that this indeed will work as intended, feel free to
change the severity and the version. I do not think it is important for
me to do as the bug is properly marked with the appropriate usertags as
requested by the RM.
