Ah, yes. That's a good point; I hadn't been thinking about debuild. Given that, I don't think there's a good way to change this without being backward-incompatible in ways that I suspect people won't like. Andrew, if you don't mind the extra git export step, I do think that setting the export-dir to where you want the packages to end up will work. Otherwise, hrm...
