metche uses mutt by default to send email.
According to piuparts [0], metche does not ask mutt to avoid saving
outgoing email. Therefore, by default, email generated by metche is
saved in /root/sent:
0m29.7s ERROR: FAIL: Package purging left files on system:
/root/sent not owned
Passing the following option over the mutt command-line might do the
trick:
-e 'set record="/dev/null"'
