Package: btrfs-tools
Version: 0.19+20111105-2
Severity: important

I was unable to make a filesystem with the mkfs.btrfs available in wheezy
plug:/# mkfs.btrfs /dev/mmcblk0p1

WARNING! - Btrfs Btrfs v0.19 IS EXPERIMENTAL
WARNING! - see http://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org before using

mkfs.btrfs: volumes.c:1575: btrfs_read_chunk_tree: Assertion `!(ret)' failed.
Aborted
plug:/#

>From some googling I found that this problem is not new, and someone else who
came across it did a bisest to isolate the offending commit in upstream, and
posted
it to their mailing list, but nobody ever responded. (I realize I am using
almost the same version)
I initially had a upstream tag, but considering that this other user was
running
the same version, I wasn't sure if it was approiate.
