Package: mount Version: 2.12p-4 Severity: wishlist After making a typo in /etc/fstab and forgetting to check that it worked, I was left with a system that would not mount / (the only partition in the system) read-write, due to invalid options in its fstab entry. I found that there is no (documented) way to force mount to pay no attention to fstab, which was inconvenient. It would be nice if such an option existed.
