Both binaries depend on (respectively) python-dns and python3-dns, but the DNS module provided by those packages ins't used. sleekxmpp/clientxmpp.py uses dns.resolver from python-dnspython (the dns module). For python-sleekxmpp, the depends should be changed from python-dns to python-dnspython.
