Package: network-manager Version: 0.9.2.0-1 Followup-For: Bug #645815 I have an (I think related) issue which infuriates the average (not technically-inclined) desktop user to no end. Not only are you forced to create system-wide connections, but these connections (stored in /etc/NetworkManager /system-connections) are not even used by NM on reboot! So the experience for users like myself is:
1. Add wireless network, needlessly authenticate as root/sudoer ... 2. Reboot 3. Repeat I have now 8 files in my /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections folder (Auto Sisko, Auto Sisko 1, Auto Sisko 2, etc.) the contents of which are identical. I'm happy to file a separate bug report but I have a strong hunch the root problem is related to the one this report is describing.
