Package: conntrackd Version: 1:0.9.14-2 Severity: wishlist
/etc/logrotate.d/conntrackd restarts conntrackd, which generates output and therefore an email from the cron job, specifically: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: Stopping conntrackd. Starting conntrackd. I don't think there is a Debian policy regarding this, but most logrotate.d snippets redirect such output to /dev/null. Using "/etc/init.d/conntrackd restart >/dev/null" would be sufficient. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-xen-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages conntrackd depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib pn libnetfilter-conntrack3 <none> (no description available) ii libnfnetlink0 1.0.0-1 Netfilter netlink library conntrackd recommends no packages. conntrackd suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
