Package: pm-utils Version: 1.4.1-8 Severity: important File: suspend The suspend feature was working like a charm on my system unless recently when it started to fail to resume from suspended state. All i can see is a blank (dark) screen. i tried following keys but got no visible response: Ctrl+Alt+F1 Ctrl+Alt+F7 Ctrl+Alt+Del Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace NumLock CapsLock
Surprisingly "Ctrl+Alt+PrtScr + REISUB" works and my system reboots! this means that the system is running properly but there is some issue with the Xserver/pm-suspend utility. Note: i'm not a pro-bug-reporter so if i've missed some info OR i've done some mistake please let me know :) -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pm-utils depends on: ii powermgmt-base 1.31 Versions of packages pm-utils recommends: ii hdparm 9.32-1 ii kbd 1.15.3-7 ii procps 1:3.3.2-1 ii vbetool 1.1-2 Versions of packages pm-utils suggests: ii cpufrequtils 007-2 ii ethtool 1:3.1-1 ii radeontool <none> ii wireless-tools 30~pre9-8 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
