Hi again! It seems to me that this bug has been fixed in Debian testing. At least, after the upgrade [UPGRADE] duplicity 0.6.15-4 -> 0.6.17-1 I have no longer seen the error messages I originally reported. However, it's strange that the upstream bug report has not yet been closed. Can you confirm that the bug has indeed been fixed? Why is the upstream bug report still open?
